Barbell Tricep Extensions

The Benefits - Barbell tricep extensions develop the triceps all the way from the elbow down to the lats. This builds a size to your triceps and gives you a fullness look of the triceps. Standing version of the tricep extensions allows you to use heavier weights.

Execution - Take a straight bar or EZ curl bar with an overhand grip. Hold the bar extended straight overhead. Do not let your elbows move up or down. Lower the weight behind your head as far as possible until you feel full stretch in your triceps.

Tips - To make it more harder, grap an underhand grip instead of overhand. This will stress more the upper area of tricep muscle, but won’t allow to use as much weight as with an overhand grip. You can do tricep extensions by lying on a flat or incline bench.
