Dumbbell Front Raises
The Benefits - Dumbbell front raises develop the front head of the deltoids. Also it involves the traps and side delts. This is a great exercise to isolate the front deltoids giving you a nice pump. I prefer to choose this movement for it’s effectines.
Execution - Stand at the straddled position, take a dumbbell in each hand. Raise one weight at a time up in a wide arch your knuckles toward up until it’s higher than shoulder level. Kepp the weight up for a moment for full contraction. Lower the weight under control resisting all the way down. At the same time lift another weight. Remember that your delt will do the work.
Tips - In order to work the front head of the delts directly. Turn your wrists slightly inward and that the dumbbell pass in front of your face rather than out to the side. Do not elevate your neck, when lifting the weight up. It’s easy to cheat with your traps. Remember, this is not a power exercise, this is a very strict exercise, so no cheating allowed!
