Close-Grip Bench Press

The Benefits - close grib bench presses develop the overall mass and strength to you triceps. This is one of my best triceps exercise to add more inches to my arms and should be the main priority if you want to add size to your triceps. This exercise will also develop your inner chest as well as front delts which makes it even more effective.

Execution - Lie on a flat bench. Grasp a barbell with both hands with a close grip, so your hands are about 10-15 inches apart. Lower the bar until it almost touches to your chest and keep your elbows out from your chest slightly pointed outwards. Push the weight back to the starting position by working with your triceps.

Tips - If you have problems with your wrists, then use a wider grip. This will help yout to keep the wrist straight and avoid some common injuries. Use appropriate amount of weight and never go too heavy in this movement, because it’s easy to loose the control of the triceps and use the front delts and chest.
