Exercise tips to build huge back muscles
Building a broad, thick and massive back is absolutely necessary in the creation of a quality bodybuilding physique. Strong and huge back muscles are made through lifting heavy weights and using lot’s of compound movements that stimulate the largest amount of back muscles simultaneously. By doing heavy back exercises, like deadlifts, rows and chin ups, you are working every important muscle of the back.
Especially, rows emphasize your lats and the smaller muscles of your back. You have to train all your back muscles including lower back muscles, middle back muscles, lats and traps in order to have an exemplary body builders back! Try to avoid cheating with your legs and biceps during each exercise!
How to isolate your back muscles
In order to have a wide and thick upper back with the full sweep and width of the lats and musculous lower back, you need to perform heavy basic exercises, but you also need isolate your back muscles to get a complete looking back. The traps play an important role in the upper back workout and they should be trained with heavy weights with a controlled form to isolate the upper back muscles and create the seperation between rear delts and upper back.
Basically I use the basic exercise for upper back, but if I see that some muscle groups of my upper back is lagging behind or get retarded, I use an isolation exercises to emphasize that specific area. I have also included the isolation exercises for lower back. Admitting that I contribute the heavy movements for lower back, it prevent you from the injury and help you to hit the target muscles only.
