Ab Scissors

The benefits  – Ab scissors, alias “penknife” exercise develop the upper and lower abs. Ab scissors needs a bit practice but it’s very effective for your entire abs. You don’t have to go to the gym performing this exercise. You can perform this exercise anywhere on a quilted surface!

Execution – Start by lying on your back on a quilted surface with both arms straight back over your head and your legs straight. Lift your shoulders off the ground and arms forward while simultaneously bringing your legs and hips up off the ground so that your hands slightly come cross over your legs.

Tips – You can use a weight plate in your hands to add resistance, but I recommend to learn the technique first.
